Synchem Industries is a major player in the industrial chemical sector, dedicated to “Redefining Supply” across West Africa. The company focuses on bridging the gap between large-scale production and local manufacturing, specifically dealing in Methanol and Ammonium Bicarbonate.
The industrial chemical market is complex and high-stakes. The goal was to build a digital presence that positions Synchem not just as a distributor, but as a critical infrastructure partner (“West Africa’s catalyst for industrial self-reliance”). The brand needed to signal massive capacity, safety, and logistical precision to international partners and local manufacturers alike.
I designed a “Big Industry” web experience that uses a clean, authoritative visual language to communicate scale and reliability.
Corporate Visual Strategy: Utilized a Deep Industrial Blue as the primary color to signify stability, intelligence, and trust—standard cues in the energy and chemical sectors.
Data-First Design: prominently featured key operational metrics, such as “100K Tons Of Methanol Annually,” on the hero section to immediately validate the company’s market position.
Sector-Specific Imagery: Curated high-quality imagery of refineries, labs, and storage facilities to visually reinforce the company’s connection to the “natural gas value chain”.
Strategic Layout: Designed distinct sections for “Local Production Access” and “Supply Chain Management” to clearly explain how Synchem solves the problem of import dependency for local industries.
Web Design & UI: Built a responsive, corporate website tailored for B2B industrial clients.
Content Strategy: Structured the “Vision & Mission” to focus on “Industrial Self-Reliance,” aligning the brand with national economic goals.
User Experience: Created a streamlined “Get Started” and FAQ flow to help procurement officers and factory managers quickly assess compatibility and request quotes.
